Every freelancer or agency owner needs to send invoices and proposals. However, before this required me to use two different software (And.co and BetterProposals.) With Plutio I now have only one, and it works very well.
I like the fact that you can add different Payment methods (even if it’s not that well automated to get a payment to your bank account.)
The proposals look good, and there are lots of templates available already, even if not as much as a dedicated tool for this purpose such as
When I tried Plutio for the first time I was struggling to have a proper list of tasks and to do list for my business.
I was using Evernote and my notebook, but I frequently lost them.
Plutio helped me a lot in getting my s**t done, and most importantly become more organized by finishing a prioritizing better my business tasks.
That’s by far the best feature of Plutio for me.
Plutio incorporates a CRM that has everything necessary to keep your clients happy and manage the relationship with your employees/contractors and clients.
The Inbox feature allows you to have all the messages exchanged with the people involved in your business all in one place.

It’s tough to get a contract adequately signed by your client through Plutio.
The editor doesn’t support HTML, neither allows you to edit the text
well to make it look good and ordered.
The flow to sign the contract it’s not well-structured, and I gave up sending the link to my clients leaving them instead with a PDF to sign.
Plutio has been translated in different languages, including my native (Italian.) Props to that!
However, the translation it’s often just an automatic one; this means that it’s risky to send legally binding contracts to clients in a different language than English.
As much as a love to use Plutio to manage my tasks, often I have to give up adding them to Plutio and use Evernote and transfer them when I’m at my laptop.
I may understand that it’s not a priority for the company to improve the mobile app, but it’s just unbearably slow.
When I was running a marketing agency Asana was my go-to software to manage clients work and most importantly be sure that all my ten employees were getting things done on time.
Asana is more abundant in features than Plutio when it comes to managing a vast team of employers or contractors.
What I like about Plutio it’s instead that it’s effortless to use and to assign a task to someone in your team.
For small companies, Plutio can be definitely a good option for its price (Start the free trial to try it yourself.)
However, managing large operations and organizations would be widely confusing and not recommended.
Before using Plutio to send invoices and manage my expenses/revenues, I used And.co.
And.co is a great software for freelancers and solopreneur, and it’s completely free.
However, it lacks lots of features that Plutio has.
There would be no doubt for me between using Plutio or And.co.
Plutio has way more features, and it’s well worth the additional spending.
In conclusion, Plutio quickly conquered my heart and became my go-to solution to manage my tasks and projects.
It’s easy to use both for myself and my team, and despite it has different points that require further work, at this price point it’s impossible to find something better in the market.
